Rye Whiskey - Sauternes Finished

We aged our Rye Whiskey for 18 months in American white oak casks and then transferred it to French oak barrels that previously held Sauternes wine for six years, allowing it to mature for an additional 18 months. This extended finishing process invited the luscious, honeyed characteristics from the Sauternes casks while softening the pronounced spicy notes in our Rye Whiskey.
